(5/11/04 9:21pm) Well good news. My Mother's tests came back negative for cancer. Her voice should return in a couple of weeks so she'll be back to her chimney smoking self in no time.

Everything else? Still fucked. But at least one thing is taken care of. Have a grand day! -J

(5/9/04 7:00pm) Happy Mother's Day to all of you Mothers. Even you Mother Fuckers! This day turned out to be a pretty somber one for me since I found out that my Mom will be tested for cancer tomorrow. She lost her voice last week and Doctors are saying that she may have damaged it so much that she may never get it back. Being that she's a life-long smoker, they want to test her for cancer as well. So now I'm dealing with this after laying flowers at the site of my Father's death the other day. I'm also dealing with a potential lawsuit with my former employer and trying to retrieve money from an Ebay user who swindled me. Yeah, my life is pretty crazy right now. But I'm trying to stay focused and not lose sight on what I need to do. I'm still trying to get my finances in order after getting a substantial amount of money stolen. And I'm also still working on finishing my business plan for Dedicated Datacom Solutions.

The point of all this? I didn't really have one. Just thought I'd put down in words how fucked up everything is right now. Not to worry though, I'm dealing with it, one problem at a time. Take care! PEACE! -J

(5/6/04 9:17pm) I think about you all the time. I wonder if you have seen your Grandson. You meant so much to me, and you probably never knew it. You were there for me, and you probably never saw it. I was too busy for you, and I never even knew it. Through it all, was an unbreakable bond. You were my best friend and I miss you. Someday we'll be reunited. Just make sure you don't wear out that tape of Oingo Boingo. I love you Dad. Rest in Peace. -J

(4/17/04 12:22pm) What a crazy flippin' week! I got a new job that I'll be starting soon. I think it's going to be a good thing for both me and my family. But I thought that about my last job. So anything can and probably will happen with my luck.

Well I'm noticing a lot more people read this than I thought. So I have to be careful what I say here. I'm trying to share everything with you guys, but sometimes it's best to leave some things out.

Anyway, not much to say right now. I'll try to add some things later. Take care. PEACE! -J

(4/7/04 9:02pm) Well spank my ass and call my "Sweet Cheeks!" It sure does seem that I edit this journal at the same time at night doesn't it?

Well the business has a name, "Dedicated Datacom Solutions." DedicatedDatacom.com will be coming soon. I am looking into getting my license and getting insured. That way I can start getting some business in and start the ball rolling on getting on some Federal lists as an available Contractor. I met this great guy this afternoon who is looking to go independent but he'll be doing cabling. That would work out perfect so that I could focus on phone switches and he could do all the cabling. So things are falling into place.

Ethan is growing so big. Friday he'll be 10 months. I can't believe how quickly it's gone by. He's starting to get faster with his crawling. One minute he's in front of you, the next he's across the house getting ready to pull down a very large picture. You just have to stay on your toes.

I guess no one reads this crap that I write because I still haven't seen any sales at the online store. Go buy! PEACE! -J

(3/28/04 9:07pm) What up biotches!? Man has it been crazy around here. Between work and family life, I've had so little time for anything else. "City Life" is grinding to a halt, I'm researching starting my own business, and Ethan's getting over being sick. It's just been nuts. I apologize that this journal hasn't been updated as often as I'd like it to be.

Order stuff from the online store. You'll see a banner over this journal. If you click it, it will take you to my online store. Support my art damn it! If I don't sell shit what's the motivation to keep pluggin stuff out? Anyway, enough ranting. Have a great day. PEACE! -J

(3/13/04 8:47pm) Well, I'm back from Dallas. I was only there a few days, but it felt like an eternity. While everyone here in the Bay Area was enjoying warm weather I was freezing my ass off while I was there. The only good part of this entire trip was III Forks, an incredible steakhouse in North Dallas. I have to honestly say that this was the best steak I've ever had in my life. (a 24oz. Filet Mignon) I went to this steakhouse in Atlanta called Bone's. At the time, I thought that was the best steak I'd ever had, but III Forks makes Bone's look like Sizzler. Not-to-mention it was about a third less.

Well, Ethan, Frances, and I made our first trip to Muir Woods today. It was great. I got to test out our Kelty Kids carrier. Ethan fell asleep at the end of the trip so I'm guessing he enjoyed it almost as much as I did. He's lost some pounds now that he's mobile so it wasn't like hauling around a sack of potatoes. At nine months, Ethan is sprouting very rapidly. He's up to 27 and 3/4 inches. He's also got 4 very sharp teeth.

Anyway, I hope everything is going well with you. I'm doing some research about going into business for myself. It's getting harder and harder to find a company out there with any moral scruples. Not to say the current company I work for isn't a good company, I'm just finding that I would have more control over how my Customers are handled if I just called all the shots. Call me a control freak or whatever, but I think having a successful business begins with taking care of your Customers. I just haven't thought of a name of the business yet. It's going to be a Telecom Network business.

Have a great day everyone. Enjoy this great weather while it lasts. PEACE! -J P.S. Vote for John Kerry! Bush is a sham!

(2/29/04 8:30pm) Happy leap day. Although this day doesn't exist, I'm enjoying a very relaxing day. I hope you are too. Well, Ethan has popped out another tooth. That makes 4 now. It's been a lot of fun. Not!

Work is going ok. I've been working my tail off so that we can continue to live in the lap of luxury. Ha ha ha ha....oh sorry. Man that was a good one. But seriously, I'll be very happy when Franny finally is working full time making a good salary. It will take a lot of pressure of of me.

"City Life" will be done soon. I know I've been saying it, but it will soon be a reality. You can order "Hate Male" now. Click on the contact page. Send $3.00 in the form of a check or money order and a copy will be rushed. If you're nice enough, I'll even sign a copy for you. PEACE!! -J P.S. Impeach BUSH!!!

(2/22/04 9:24am) Happy Sunday to you all. Well, another week has past us by and I'll tell you, it's a good thing. This past week has just been crazy and I'm glad it's over. The down side? Monday is right around the corner.

Franny, Benny, Maki, Michelle, and I all attended A.P.E. yesterday. It was a lot of fun. There were some great Artists with great comics this year. It gave me a lot of great ideas for next year. I also met up with a guy who does prototype sculptures for big toy companies. He was looking to hook up with someone that would like to create some resin sculptures for their work. So I may look to him to do a couple Freck and Frick sculptures. He tells me it is relatively cheap when I give him enough time. I told him that I wouldn't need it until next year and he told me that it would be very cheap to get a few done. So we're gonna talk a little more about it and you may see some Freck and Frick sculptures next year.

Well, not a whole lot going on right now. I'll be in Dallas the first week of March so I'll try and update you before I go. Take care! PEACE! -J

(2/10/04 9:00pm) Well, if you haven't heard by now, I will not be an exhibitor at A.P.E. this year. I got bumped from the waiting list. So what that means is "City Life" and "Hate Male" will not be sold there. However, "Hate Male" is ready for purchase. If you would like a copy please refer to the contact page. Send $3.00 in the form of a check or money order and a copy will be rushed. If you're nice enough, I'll even sign a copy for you.

I just came back from Atlanta on Friday night and had a great week. I ate at the most incredible steak houses and still have about 2 lbs of meat stuck in my colon. One place called Fogo de Chao, was probably the most incredible experiences at a restaurant I've had. They sit you down at your table. You have two options, you could go start at the salad bar which was one of the most elaborate salad bars I've ever seen in my life. Or you could just turn over this little card on your table. One side of the round card was red, the other side was green. When you're ready to be served you would turn the card over. At that point all of the waiters, or Gauchos, would bring these skewers filled with all kinds of meat. Different cuts, pork, chicken, beef, sausage. And they would just keep bringing you meat until you turned your card over. It was great. Everything was incredible. If you're ever in Atlanta, bring your appetite then go to Fogo de Chao and Bone's Restaurant which is located across the street. Both have an incredible steak.

Next month I'll be in Dallas for another training class. There is a steak house there called III Forks that I've been told is a must. I'll make sure I detail my visit. They also have a Fogo de Chao there, but I don't think I'll be able to stand that much meat again.

Anyway, everything is going well. Ethan is sprouting teeth like it's a tooth garden. He just turned 8 months yesterday and he's getting so big. Look for new pictures of him soon. We will be taking him in for Valentine's pictures. So once I get those, I'll post them up here. Franny's still going to school and I'm still working my ass off. Our goal is to buy a house by the end of the year, so I've been putting in a lot of over time. As soon as "City Life" is ready, I'll make sure that those of you who are on my mailing list, will know right away. PEACE! -J

(1/29/04 9:15pm) What can I say? It's been a rough couple of weeks. I went from being really excited getting ready for A.P.E., to bummin because I got bumped and will not be an exhibitor. So "City Life" will still be released, just not at A.P.E.

I'll be in Atlanta all next week. I'm attending a class for a phone system. Most likely I'll be sitting in my room all week still putting the finishing touches on "City Life." Look for it on the online store February 21st. "Hate Male" is available now and is only available by mail order. There aren't a whole lot of copies so order yours today.

Take care. See you at A.P.E. 2005. PEACE! -J

(1/14/04 6:25pm) What in the flip?! Two entries in two days?! What the hell is going on?! I'll tell you. On February 19th between 3-5pm, yours truly will be gracing the airwaves of Live 105 plugging my appearance at A.P.E. Through the grace of Buddha and through some level of groveling, I was able to con my way onto Jared's afternoon show. Listen for me on Live 105 on Thursday February 19th. Then come see me at A.P.E. PEACE!-J

(1/13/04 9:02pm) Hey all. Things are moving along well. "Hate Male" is done, the table is paid for at A.P.E., and all the paperwork has been finalized. The only thing left is to finish "City Life." I hope I see you all at the Concourse Exhibition Hall in San Francisco. It's at the corner of Brannon and 7th St.

Ethan's cutting a tooth. You can just barely feel it but it's definitely coming in. He's getting so big. I can't believe he's 7 months already. It's gone by in a flash. Pretty soon he's going to be crawling, walking, talking, and getting into things. Boy I can't wait.

Well, not a whole lot of stuff happening. Just trying to get everything in line for next month. Can you believe it? Time flies when you're having fun. PEACE! -J

(1/3/04 5:02pm) Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all had a safe a fun time. I fell asleep around 10:30pm. Not much of a party animal anymore.

"Hate Male" is done! Yes, a comic book that is done! You will be able to purchase it at the Alternative Press Expo in San Francisco in February. After that, you'll be able to pick it up on the online store.

Speaking of which, I'm going to be taking the Ethan ornament out of the store real soon. So if you would like one, please go and get one.

The journal page is starting to get very long so with a fresh year comes a fresh page. So that's why I've taken all of the previous entries out. I won't allow this page to get too long, so don't expect this entry to stay in through December.

Again, Happy New Year. I hope this year proves to be a better year then 2003. I'm making a predication right here and now, the stock market is going to be better this year. So get out and invest in America. (That's my small patriotism coming out there. I won't let it happen again.) Later! -J
